Took my 2008 G35S into the dealer today for some service, and got a 2009 G37x for a loaner.Initial impressions of the G37:I don't really feel the difference in power, although who knows what the ecu has learned from prior drivers.The gearing helps mileage, certainly, but it seems like it spends more time trying to gear-hunt.The startup cycle is MUCH louder and slower than my 08. "Ckick, Whir, Click, Clang" then starts.Absolutely no options installed (I didnt know infinit even offered a manual steering wheel adjustment)The non-sport seats are just not comfortable; too short in the thigh, too soft everywhere.Overall, I am much happier with my 08 than the 09.

I was cleaning my interior yesterday afternoon and I discovered that the dash around my instrument cluster is starting to warp or peel up. Have any of you seen this? I think it'll be easy to remedy but I'm going to drive it down to the dealership and let them have a crack at it first. I'm not sure whether this is due to poor craftsmanship or the sun.A guy also had a problem like this in Arizona . I'm pretty consistent putting up my sunshade and I keep the interior surfaces covered with 303 Aerospace protectant as well. Luckily the steering wheel keeps this out of my view, but I need it fixed.

New Suspension

Forged Performance did the drop on my sedan with the Eibach Pro Kit (and they installed the Stillen Exhaust). I thought it looked really good when I picked it up, but the wheels looked so tucked in under the car after the drop. I'd already dropped a bunch of coin on the exhaust, springs, and brakes that I didn't have the money to do new wheels and tires.I think I finally found the solution to my problem with the wheels being so tucked in. I got some Ichiba 20mm V2 spacers installed all the way around. What a HUGE difference it made in the looks. Eventually, I'm going to get new wheels and tires, but until then tell me what you think (pardon the crappy iPhone pics).

Hey guys. Finally got my GT Spec STB installed along with the NR>G Carbon Fiber Engine Cover. But I still have a bunch of other mods to install. Like a K&N Typhoon Intake, GT Spec Front Subframe Tie Braces, Betty's Garage 4AWG Grounding Wires, and the KP Tech Traction, Nav, & Mirror Tilt Modules. I plan to put the front subframe braces on tonight, and I'm hoping to get the car dyno'd this weekend, then the intake and grounding wires will go on. Not sure when I'll have the time to do the KP Tech modules... The mods are coming faster than I can install them.

So I just ordered two Magnaflow Dual Tip Mufflers for my G35 Sedan...I am really hoping that this will look good because I paid alot for those babys...so here are some pics of the muffler, and the car theyre going on...These Mufflers

New routers

I made the trek out to Z1 Motorsports today and got their slotted and drilled rotors and some new pads put on my '08. John was great to work with, and they had some awesome rides out there. I'll post some more pics with a better camera tomorrow, but until then here are a couple I snapped with my iPhone.Let me know what you think.

New Exsaust

Hey guys. Just picked up my Tanabe Medalion exhaust from Rick at Riverside today.... Rick also talked me into a set of Tanabe NF210 lowering springs today. These are their comfort line and only drop the car 1" - 1.3", so it's a moderate drop, but not too much. So i was driving the other day and i was going a little fast and i turned and i was thinking wow my turning should be a little tighter so i found this lowering kit and suspension for my turning radious tell me what you think i should do and if anyone noes any better brand then eibach.

Tires ??

Well my tires are bald and the size i need are 225/55/18 and i think im gonna get bridgestone turnza or michelin contisports so if anyone any ideas please help tires are exspensive i need a good tire.

headlight

Well now im thinking that i want to get a new blacked headlight casing and im really unsure what to do. Theres 2 things i can do which is either by a smoked out headlight cover vinyl or take off the actual casing and paint the inserts black. So if any of you out there no what i should do plz help me because im stuck between those 2.

my friends intake

Well my other friend just an intake and its called an AFE cold air intake. The main reason for this accesory is to make your car have greater performance and gas milege. Another reason is that you get pretty decent horse power boost. Well thats wat I think about the cold air intake and highly recomend this part for any kind of vehicle.

Lastest news on my car and accesories that i put on my car that you could maybe do to yours !!! Im debating on purchasing new rims and wheels for my G35. I was debating on a few of them "Vertini hennessey", or "mmr's". I like the quality of the two materials and it's a hard decision. My car is my own "home" so it has to be perfect. So i was thinking of silver or possibly chrome. I would in fact purchase black rims except it has too many negative's such as possibly as chips's and keeping them spotless is a major thing. If anybody has any ideas or suggestions hit me up!
